Like. Its supposed to be a dance essay, however I’ve found myself writing a lot about the speech in Pina Bausch’s work. She’s still a choreographer. They dance, in a loose sense of the word. But they also say things, give speeches, which are quite useful to what I’m talking about. Does me talking about that then make it more of a theatre arts essay?
And plus, I’m writing about realtionships within gender, but Pina Bausch openly says that she doesnt consider gender to be that purposeful in her work? Like I don’t know. I don’t want the examiner to think I’m being naive. I feel like I’m making a lot of preconceptions about her work and the message she’s giving, when really she’s not purposefully giving that message.
And plus, I don’t know how much of the like historical and religious influences to include, i know I’m supposed to have an understanding of the culture behind her work, but as far as I can understand, they don’t really play an impact on her work. Apart from the post Nazi thing and I don’t know that her work is affected greatly by this.
Hmm.
my teachers commented all over this essay like eurghhhh talk about quantum maths.
when realistically how am i going to know the ins and outs of quantum maths to be able to use it in this essay. i dont even know literally what it is and i dont suppose many people do.
But our ticket to get in is the first draft of our extended essay.
“Happy writing!”
And I got a 6 in English! Woah
And a 4 in Philosophy. Woah
I need to crack down on Philosophy and French.
So yeah, an okay day :)
