Watching “Hidden Talent”

which was on channel 4 last week and all about learning languages. 
and this guys learning arabic within like 2 months to go out to jordan and get a job and stuff.
and it makes me wanna learn arabic so badly.
and then i realise that i get this feeling everytime i’m even slightly exposed to a different language. german, russian, portuguese, anything.
and then i really have to question why it is that i’m not taking a degree in modern foreign languages. 
and thats something that really panics me. like how can i be sure knowing this that i’ve chosen the right uni course, career, life etc.
fuck my lifeeeeeeeeeeee :’( 

I feel so relaxed.

I hoovered my room and tidied it all up, then got in the bath with a candle and a genius playlist based on One Leap by Joshua Radin and heard some beautiful songs that I haven’t listened to in a long time. Shaved legs, put a hair mask on, had some bubbles. I then moisturised and put on a face mask, got into my nice birthday pyjamas and transferred the candle into my room. Currently sitting basically in the dark bar my fairy lights and candle, flicking through a magazine and listening to Ben Howard. I feel mentally clear. I need to do this more often, I really like the atmosphere of my room right now. I feel happy to be on my own with my music and my own thoughts. 

DONE WITH PHILOSOPHY FOREVAAAA

I hate to sound over excited about it. I really do love philosophy and its an incredible subject and complete kudos who takes it further in education and stuff, but it has given me the largest amount of stress over the last year you can’t even imagine.

I really want to keep reading philosophy and if theres a philosophy society at uni for something i’ll definitely go, however I’m quite happy to float along like that and let the proper philosophers do the hard work.
